Dead or Alive: Hanzaisha (1999)

Jojima is a competent cop who also maintains his contacts with the local Yakuza (members of transnational crime syndicates originating in Japan) and their leader, Satake. Jojimawants a loan to pay for his ailing daughter’s medical expense. Around the same time,Ryuichi another outlaw and his group make an appearance with an obvious goal of taking over the drug trade in the area. Aikawa and Takeuchi in the roles of Jojima and Ryuichi respectively are the ones that steal the show, as they highlight their characters’ differences and similarities but most of all, their chemistry.
