Current Theega (2014)

This youthful romantic comedy revolves around Raju (Manchu Manoj), a carefree youngster, who is deeply infatuated with an English teacher at a junior college, Sunny (Sunny Leone). He identifies Kavita (Rakul Preet Singh), one of Sunny's students to be his messenger.

Slowly, Raju and Kavita meet often and during their interactions, their relationship slowly grows into friendship and then blossoms into love. Once Raju finally realises his true emotions for Kavita and the young couple decide to get married, their problems really begin in honest.

Kavita happens to be the third and youngest daughter of Siva Rama Raju (Jagapati Babu), a powerful man, who has a reputation of being unfailingly kind and helpful to those in need n his native village of Parvatipuram. Everyone in the village is made aware of his vow to kill or main any man who has to fall in love with anyone of his daughters. His unalterable decision is to never allow any of his daughters to marry of their own choice or even elope.

How will Raju face off against his powerful future father-in-law? Will the young couple succeed in staying together against all odds? Can they find a way to marry with the approval of Kavita's father?
