The heroic story of one of the bravest Maratha warriors in India needs no introduction. This is not just part of Indian history, but is a source of great pride for India. Throughout his life, he battled against Islamic invasions and fought numerous Shahs and Mughals, but he never denigrated their religion. He did not come from a royal background. His father, Shahaji Bhosle, was originally a landlord. Shahaji influenced Adilshah by his unmatched courage for which he was bestowed with the title 'Sir Laskhar' of Bangalore and Subhedar. Shahaji Bhosle was known for his fair justice. His mother, Jijabai came from Sindkhed and belonged to the Jadhav clan. Her father Lakhoji Jadhav was a courageous leader of Nizamshah. Shivaji came from two brave historic families. This inspiring movie explores his heroic journey of trials and sacrifice, of courage and victory that will forever live in the hearts of Indians.
