Ajay is the son of millionaire Dwraknath who wishes to merge his company with another millionaire Ramdas, and plans to become richer. Ajay is pursued by Ramdas's daughter Vinnie whose feelings don't get reciprocated. Vinnie swears to avenge her pain and approaches her father who plots to cause trouble for Dwaraknath. Ajay while travelling dashes into Nilima, and eventually falls in love with her. They both fall in love with each other and Ajay stays close to her. Nilima lives with her friend Pusha whose widower brother Anand, comes from abroad to visit his son. Pushpa speaks highly of Nilima and he falls in love with her. Nilima's love for Ajay is discovered by Anand who in a fit of rage attacks them in a forest fire. Vinnie plans to instill a feeling of insecurity in Ajay and he falls for the devious plan and abandons Nilima while she is in the hospital. Anand meets Nilima at the hospital while getting Pushpa treated, and is surprised to see her alone without Ajay. Anand takes responsibility and cares for Nilima who is now crippled. The whole society insults them when they live together and talk harshly about their character. Will Anand and Nilima overcome the societal pressure and live a decent life?? What happens to Anand's love for Neelima??
