At a critical juncture in filming, the filming stopped duet o financial problems.

Earlier the shoot of this movie was arranged in Rupashree studio, Park Circus, Kolkata but after the studio got devastated by fire in an accident, they started shooting in Indrapuri Studio.

Bedeni was based on a short story of Tarashankar Bandopadhyay named Nagini.

Bedeni marks the directorial debut of legendary director, Ritwik Ghatak.
