Trivia:
This script was specially written for Suriya.

Before the shooting had started, stunt choreographer Franz Spilhaus shot all the fight scenes with his stunt team, edited the version himself and showed it for approval from the filmmakers.

A restaurant was used as the stunt rehearsal space in South Africa.

The locals were amazed by the filming of the stunt sequence and believed it to be a real fight, letting the filmmakers film the sequences in single long takes.

Suriya insisted that he'd perform the car flip sequence himself designed by Ong who came from Jackie Chan's stunt group.

Three different stunt coordinators worked on the film with the opening Congo stunts choreographed by South African stunt choreographer Franz Spilhaus, the Malaysian car chase stunts designed by Honk Kong based stunt choreographer William Ong, and the final climax fight sequences were done by Indian choreographer Kanal Kannan.

Suriya finding it difficult to walk in heels wearing a woman's disguise, was received with cheers and whistles by the crew members, leading to a slight delay in shoot before they all could be quietened down.
