In a prison in India, Champak Choudhary (Sanjay Dutt), a forgery expert, encounters fellow inmate Raghuvir Sharma (Raghuvir Yadav), a lifer who has been put away for jewelry theft. The two convicts strike up a deal in which Champak will forge papers for Raghuvir's early release in exchange for half a share of a hidden cache of diamonds. Trouble ensues when Champak -- now using the name Anthony Gonzales -- is mistaken for a man wanted dead by mobsters.

Factual Mistake
When the reporter witnesses the murder of the club girl by Lucky Sharma, he records it with a video camera. Since he was standing in one spot the whole time, he should only have gotten one angle on the entire incident. Instead, we are clearly shown, several times, a video of Lucky Sharma strangling the girl from various angles switching back and forth instantly. Some of these are even closeups of his and her face, which would be impossible given the situation.
