Park Yeol is a Korean patriot and revolutionary activist who organizes an anarchist group named "Heukdohoe" during the Korea under Japanese rule. His lover is Fumiko Kaneko, a Japanese nihilist who sympathized with Koreans oppressed under Japanese rule. Together with his group, Park Yeol plans to assassinate Japan's Crown Prince Hirohito.
