Amor Prem (1989)

Subho is an MSc. graduate who returns from USA to meet his mother in India. Subho's mother plans to arrange Subho to marry Mr. Bose's daughter. Mr. Bose rejects the offer made by Subho's mother and humiliates her. Subho decides to marry Mr. Bose's daughter Nirmala and goes under disguise. Nirmala falls in love with Subho but eventually learns about his true identity and is shocked. Subho apologizes and both reconcile, much to her father's disapproval. How Subho changes their parents minds and eventually marries Nirmala forms the rest of the story
