Ammakkoru Thaaraattu (2015)

Evocative and eloquent, this soulful drama revolves around Sulakshana a heartbroken woman who is depressed and dejected. Despite being a retired schoolteacher, she is neglected and abused by her own children whose insensitivity causes her immense suffering.

Her only solace are thoughts and memories of the relationship and love she shared with Joseph when they were young. Although they were forced to separate, reminiscing over their time together makes her feel happy and loved.
