This upbeat tale delightfully depicts the adventures and exploits in the life of Vijay, an extremely wealthy man who lives with his mother. He is extremely devoted to his mother and thinks of her as his Goddess. The only activity he does against her will is his profession of capturing wild animals, imprisoning them and selling them to circus companies. In course of time, he falls in love with Hema, the vivacious daughter of one of his clients. When an order is placed for a young elephant be captured, Vijay uses all his skill to imprison a baby elephant and bring it to the circus company. However, when Ganesh (the baby elephant) escapes from the circus into the city, in its attempt to reunite with its mother, will Vijay expend his effort into placing Ganesh back inside a cage or help it join its mother? How will his actions impact his relationship with his clients? Will Vijay continue to capture wild animals for profit or accept his mother's wishes and give up the heinous profession?
