'Aman Ki Aasha' is a love story that revolves around two young lovers who belong to different religions, cultures, countries and backgrounds. Aman is a Pakistani rock star and Asha is a Punjabi girl settled in London.
Steeped in sentimental emotions and age-old traditional beliefs, there is still much stigma couples have to face if they belong to different races, religions and countries. The crux of the movie is Aman and Asha's struggle for parental approval.
Will Asha's conservative Indian parents be able to find it within their hearts to accept a Pakistani boy as their bridegroom? Can such couples ever hope to gain acceptance and approval in our society? Will the couple manage to stay together, assuage the objections of the parents and ensure that their love is affirmed through the bond of matrimony?
