Astronaut Roy McBride travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father who had left him 20 years ago, to go on a one-way journey to Neptune where he was supposed to find signs of extra-terrestrial intelligence. He sets out to find the understand the reason behind the failure of his mission.
