Abhimanyu (1990)

This emotionally charged action drama traces the twists and turns in the life of Prijay, a fearless and forthright young man. When all his efforts to remain honest and straightforward go in vain, he is forced to adopt a life of violence and crime in order to fight for justice.

Like a breath of fresh air, Jaya comes into his life and they fall in love with each other. In a tragic twist, Jaya's father becomes involved in an accident at the factory he works in that leaves him severely injured. When both his hands are amputated, Prijay comes to the rescue and helps Jaya and her family get rightful compensation from the employers.

Prijay’s widowed sister Sobha helps the young lovers unite in the holy bond of marriage. In course of time Jaya becomes pregnant with the baby, but she does not want her child to be recognised as the son of a criminal. Will Prijay succeed in transforming himself into a peaceful, law-abiding citizen for the sake of his family?
