9 Thirudargal (2015)

This multi-layered drama sparks off when Shanmugha Sundaram, a veteran actor who is on the verge of passing away, reveals to his once-loyal manager, about the extensive wealth he owns in Chennai.

However, the actor, who is on his deathbed also exposes that the Rs. 50 crores of assets can be accessed only after getting the finger print of Shanmugha Sundaram's mentally challenged son, who is being taken care of by Adaikkalam Arakkattalai, which is run by a serene, kind-hearted father.

In a further twist, it turns out that this revelation is not heard by the manager alone, but also overheard by a group of servants, who convey the same to predatory sharks to gain possession of the wealth at any cost. A cunning group of people fabricates stories to gain entry into Adaikkalam Arakkattalai. At the healthcare home, a sincere nurse overhears the group's conversation and is mysteriously murdered on the same night. Who is the killer? What will the future hold in store for the actor's disabled son? Who will finally gain possession of Shanmugha Sundaram's wealth?
