A brave woman makes a reputation for herself as an author of bestselling books. A filmmaker reaches out to her seeking permission for turning her book 'final match' into a movie.

This book is based on a terrifying real-life incident during which a group of Dalit villagers were brutally killed by powerful landlords in one of the most deadly massacre. In 1987, Aurangabad Bihar, a group of young men, from a background of water poverty and slavery, are chosen to play a football match. When they win this match against all odds, they are murdered in cold blood.
